    Contraindications for E-Stim - Do Not Use electrical stimulation if there is the presence of a cardiac pacemaker or other implanted stimulation device.

    Do Not Place Electrode Pads:

    • Tangential to the heart;
    • Along regions of the phrenic nerve;
    • Near any malignancy.
    • Over the carotid sinus;
    • Over the laryngeal musculature;
    • Over topical substances containing metal ions (E.I. povidone iodine and mercurochrome, unless thoroughly cleaned.);
    • Over osteomyelitis
